THE STORY OF MUD P JENKINS
Mud P Jenkins does not start with a genre. He starts with a theme—a character, a warning, a hard lesson, or a story worth telling.
His music draws from Southern rock, country, funk, and blues, carried by electric guitars, harmonica, banjo, brass, and drums. The sound changes to serve the story, but Mud’s voice remains unmistakable: sharp-tongued, observant, funny, and rooted in back-porch wisdom.
Swamp rock music is one doorway into Mud’s world, but it does not define the whole of it—the theme always decides the sound.
In Mud’s world, the swamp is more than scenery. It can teach, warn, remember, judge, or become the rhythm moving beneath the song.
