Description
Swamp Funk Heart is the 14-track debut album from Mud P Jenkins, a theme-driven Southern storyteller whose music follows the needs of each song instead of remaining inside one genre.
The album moves through self-portraits, revenge tales, cautionary stories, back-porch philosophy, swamp folklore, and atmospheric chapters where the landscape becomes part of the story. Every track introduces its own characters, consequences, warnings, and hard-earned truths.
Southern rock, country, funk, blues, and swamp-rooted grooves collide through electric guitars, harmonica, banjo, brass, bass, and hard-driving drums. From the swagger of “They Call Me Mud” and the driving title track to the measured vengeance of “One x One,” the hidden danger of “Spanish Moss Smiles,” and the supernatural warning of “The Legend of Hollars Due,” every song creates a world of its own.
Swamp Funk Heart is not an album forced into one genre. It is one Southern world told through many sounds.
